Cookie policy
What this site stores in your browser. Right now the honest answer is almost nothing.
- Two cookies, both strictly necessary. No analytics, no advertising, no third parties.
- That is why there is no consent banner to click through.
- Nothing here follows you to another website.
What this covers
This policy covers mfsconnect.com. The MFS Connect app does not use cookies; what it stores on your device is covered by the privacy policy.
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. They are how a site recognises the same browser between one request and the next — which is what makes a form submission work at all.
What we set today
This is a pre-launch page. It runs no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking. The only cookies are the two the site needs to accept a form submission safely.
Both are first-party cookies, restricted to this site, and marked SameSite=Lax so they are not sent along with requests started by other websites. On the live site they are also marked Secure, meaning they only travel over an encrypted connection.
We set no analytics cookies, no advertising or retargeting cookies, no social media pixels, and no third-party cookies of any kind.
Why we do not ask for consent
UK cookie rules require consent for cookies that are not essential. Both cookies above are strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for — submitting the form — so the exemption in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations applies and consent is not required. If we ever set a cookie that falls outside that exemption, we will ask you first and name the provider on this page before it runs.
When the store opens
Adding checkout means adding cookies: a basket and session cookie from our commerce platform, and a fraud-prevention cookie from our payment provider. Both are strictly necessary to take an order and will be listed here before they go live.
If we later add analytics, it will be behind a consent banner with a genuine "reject" option that is as easy to click as "accept", and it will not run until you choose. We will name the provider here first.
Controlling cookies
Every browser lets you see, block or clear cookies from its settings — usually under Privacy, Security or Site Settings. You can block cookies for this site specifically or for all sites.
Blocking the two above will stop the waitlist and dealer forms working, because the site will no longer be able to tell a genuine submission from a forged one. Nothing else on this page depends on them, and browsing the site with cookies blocked is otherwise fine.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
There is nothing for these signals to switch off here, because we do no tracking to begin with. If we ever add anything that could be described as tracking, we will honour Global Privacy Control as an opt-out and say so on this page.
Changes and contact
We will update this page whenever the set of cookies changes, and change the date at the top. Questions go to info@mobileflashsolutions.com.
